    1/5 stars – Deeply disappointing, especially for our 29th anniversary We've been regulars at Pigalle for years, but this visit showed a complete decline under the new management, and we won't be returning. We were seated at a table right next to the toilet entrance, with waitstaff constantly standing beside us to chat. When my husband asked if this was the best table available, the waiter said yes — my husband disagreed, and only then were we moved. The food itself was average at best, a real step down from what Pigalle used to offer, yet still priced as if it were fine dining. The restaurant has also packed in far too many tables, making it an obstacle course just to reach your seat. Service overall felt more like a food court than a restaurant of this caliber — the staff don't seem properly trained in table service. To make matters worse, paying was a nightmare. The card machine kept declining transactions, apparently a known issue "since yesterday" according to the manager. My card was swiped and inserted repeatedly with staff subtly implying the fault was mine, before I finally had to use a different card. Another guest nearby was having the same problem. Despite all this, the manager at the desk never once apologized. On previous visits, a waiter named Warren stood out for his excellent, attentive service — the current staff could learn a lot from him about what good hospitality actually looks like. This was meant to be a special celebration for our 29th anniversary, and instead it was a disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish. I won't be going back.

    The manager on duty was amazing. With 3 of the patrons having issues with the food and meat . It was replaced without any issues. Service, ambiance, mood impeccable. Definitely an evening for the books and one to remember. We will be back to celebrate more special moments.

    Too many issues with service, place has really gone down since last time i was there. We ended up cutting out dinner short and leaving. Terrible service. Not sure what has changed, use to be my favourite place. So dissappointing. Manager says he thinks lady serving us was drunk, very dissapponting.

    I am surely not opposed to tipping a service provider for service rendered however for a waiter to make me manually add up my bill on my cellphone calculator and then adamantly insist on her 10% to be added with no shame when she was nowhere to be found and two other waiters actually took our mains and second drink orders was beside me. I’m actually fact the forced tip was due to the staff that other served us. I was at table 18 on the evening of the 18th of July. I certainly won’t name and shame but the behavior was shocking.
