    The overall experience was great. The ambience and atmosphere very welcoming and relaxing. Comfortable chairs and very friendly and helpful staff. Great day overall, and I would definitely recommend Pigalle to friends and family.

    I have to admit, this was a let-down. I know Pigalle is known for celebrations and large bookings, but the staff don't seem to be up to the task. The noise level was very high, the service was very slow and the food was nowhere near worth the price tag. We had the Seafood Platter for 2, which strongly reminded me of Ocean Basket taste-wise. The drinks came in bits and pieces, one at a time, with long waits between deliveries. The live music was nice and the prices of the cocktails and wine per glass are very reasonable for Cape Town. Overall though, this is a won't return from me. Nothing was truly awful, but it certainly wasn't great.
