    Mixed feelings about our lunch. The staff is very friendly, but I think a bit short on staff on a busy Sunday with people dining inside and outside. We waited for quite a while for our food and had some troubles to get a hold of the waiters to order. We didn't order the churros I was looking forward to because I didn;t want to wait another hour, shame. Some dishes were good (the butternut, pulled beef and venison croquettes), others mediocre and sometimes even bland (like the burger, squid and chicken. At this price point I expected a bit more to be honest. We paid 1850 rand for 6 dishes and 2 carats of wine. Not so mediocre… The wine menu is very small. We had a nice Taaibosch wine though. We visited for the first time, but I’m not sure if the restaurant will be on my top 10 list. Maybe during summer, overlooking the vines.

    I drove out of Blouberg Cape town for the 3 crouton dipper pairing which is advertised as 3 big blocks to dip. When i received the tasting i was totally in shock and could not believe what i was presented with. It was three tiny strips! How do you even serve that? The waiter and manager said what they advertised last week Thursday is no longer being served like that. AND IT ITS STILL ON YOUR INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT! Which makes it false advertising. The manager apologise and advised that i can get my lunch free. Well! i ended up having to pay for it! Despite buying a harvest table ticket and bottle of Mrs Muller it was still a long way to drive for that poor service.
