We had an exceptional lunch as a family. The outside tables were perfect for a sunny winter's day. Great food and excellent wine.

I will comment overall on the food because that’s why I visited the farm. Mieliebrood very nice Pork belly, some pieces were dry Truffle waffle, dry, was not giving truffle at all Wings were decent Pulled beef, dry, not practical to eat, the ratio was just off Venison dish was my favourite. I would go back for the ambience, most likely not for the food, not worth paying over R1k for.

Good food presentation, good wine, awesome ambience; pity the steak was overcooked, waiter didin't his menu and very bad at taking accurate orders for our 6 pax table.

Mixed feelings about our lunch. The staff is very friendly, but I think a bit short on staff on a busy Sunday with people dining inside and outside. We waited for quite a while for our food and had some troubles to get a hold of the waiters to order. We didn't order the churros I was looking forward to because I didn;t want to wait another hour, shame. Some dishes were good (the butternut, pulled beef and venison croquettes), others mediocre and sometimes even bland (like the burger, squid and chicken. At this price point I expected a bit more to be honest. We paid 1850 rand for 6 dishes and 2 carats of wine. Not so mediocre… The wine menu is very small. We had a nice Taaibosch wine though. We visited for the first time, but I’m not sure if the restaurant will be on my top 10 list. Maybe during summer, overlooking the vines.
