Established in 1990 Pirates Steakhouse has been one of Plumstead’s top dining destination for more than three decades winning a number of awards for excellence.

This family-owned business continues to offer local residents good quality, value for money meals, with an in-house Dining Club offering discounts to regulars; signing up is both free and easy.

In addition to the great food and friendly service they have some of Cape Towns top musicians performing in the restaurant nightly.

The separate pub area alongside the restaurant caters for both sport lovers and party goers with big screen TV’s and a dee jay every night till 4am. The kitchen is open around the clock with the main menu on offer till 2am, pizzas till 5am and pub burgers, toasted sandwiches and chips available 24/7.

    Our ribs were great , as usual , the calamari was super tender as usual. Our waitress was excellent. Only we found the band a tad bit too loud......though the singing was wonderful..When the lights were turned down , it was a bit too dark. Thanx.

    It was a special evening as we were celebrating a birthday and matric pass. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the company and bonus live entertainment. We would like to commend Natasha for her great service. She was friendly, helpful, attentive and made the evening so special.

    The chef's deserve credit for again an incredible meal, served piping hot and delicious. The music was not working, so usual ambiance was lost. The air con also was not working in our fav booth. These things happen. Hi opting all is sorted soon! We will be back !
