Established in 1990 Pirates Steakhouse has been one of Plumstead’s top dining destination for more than three decades winning a number of awards for excellence.

This family-owned business continues to offer local residents good quality, value for money meals, with an in-house Dining Club offering discounts to regulars; signing up is both free and easy.

In addition to the great food and friendly service they have some of Cape Towns top musicians performing in the restaurant nightly.

The separate pub area alongside the restaurant caters for both sport lovers and party goers with big screen TV’s and a dee jay every night till 4am. The kitchen is open around the clock with the main menu on offer till 2am, pizzas till 5am and pub burgers, toasted sandwiches and chips available 24/7.

    We had a wonderful evening of good food, music and company. Staff is very friendly and gives excellent service.

    Shrinkflation has had a huge impact on the portion sizes but most disappointing was my 200g prime rump steak i ordered. more than half of the steak was pure sinew and i had to chew my way through it in order to get a taste of actual meat. I've been to Pirates steak house on a few occasions but on the 2nd May was probably my worse experience by far. and to top it off , it was a birthday /bon voyage for my sister I will definitely re-think another visit there any time soon.
