Established in 1990 Pirates Steakhouse has been one of Plumstead’s top dining destination for more than three decades winning a number of awards for excellence.

This family-owned business continues to offer local residents good quality, value for money meals, with an in-house Dining Club offering discounts to regulars; signing up is both free and easy.

In addition to the great food and friendly service they have some of Cape Towns top musicians performing in the restaurant nightly.

The separate pub area alongside the restaurant caters for both sport lovers and party goers with big screen TV’s and a dee jay every night till 4am. The kitchen is open around the clock with the main menu on offer till 2am, pizzas till 5am and pub burgers, toasted sandwiches and chips available 24/7.

    We were warmly received and the Birthday Girl loved the table decorations; the service was lighting fast and friendly. We will be back.

    The food was excellent my husband had a bacon & egg burger & I had the surf & turf. We have eaten at numerous restaurants but my husband can't stop talking about the burger itself. With myself I don't normally order steak as I have had many let downs but I cannot faulty the steak it was delicious succulent & I don't know what that magic basting was yummy I even told the waiter to tell the chef that the food was delicious. This will be my go to place in the future

    Everything was great !! As you can see I gave 5 stars for all sections. But , the Saturday I also went there ;& was charged an exorbitant corkage fee. We feel we are members & Senior Citizens and would like to pay a lesser & more considerate corkage fee !!. Besides , I only had one glass of wine from the bottle. They have a glass of red wine on the menu , which would've been less than the corkage charge !!. Maybe the waitress could've put us in the know beforehand . 🤦‍♂️😥.
