Established in 1990 Pirates Steakhouse has been one of Plumstead’s top dining destination for more than three decades winning a number of awards for excellence.

This family-owned business continues to offer local residents good quality, value for money meals, with an in-house Dining Club offering discounts to regulars; signing up is both free and easy.

In addition to the great food and friendly service they have some of Cape Towns top musicians performing in the restaurant nightly.

The separate pub area alongside the restaurant caters for both sport lovers and party goers with big screen TV’s and a dee jay every night till 4am. The kitchen is open around the clock with the main menu on offer till 2am, pizzas till 5am and pub burgers, toasted sandwiches and chips available 24/7.

    After our food was done we asked for the menu for dessert which came quickly but for them to come back to take our dessert order took forever. Overall else everything was amazing!

    We had an awesome evening, will definitely visit again, just seating was a hit awkward, one can feel the cold creep in, will make sure to get. A booth seating next time round. Thanks.

    Thank you for a lovely dinner. The chicken and calamari combo was delicious and the portion size was huge. I had to take half home with me.

    We had an amazing time & everybody enjoyed the food thoroughly! The 2 waiters were phenomenal! They kept it all together. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
