Established in 1990 Pirates Steakhouse has been one of Plumstead’s top dining destination for more than three decades winning a number of awards for excellence.

This family-owned business continues to offer local residents good quality, value for money meals, with an in-house Dining Club offering discounts to regulars; signing up is both free and easy.

In addition to the great food and friendly service they have some of Cape Towns top musicians performing in the restaurant nightly.

The separate pub area alongside the restaurant caters for both sport lovers and party goers with big screen TV’s and a dee jay every night till 4am. The kitchen is open around the clock with the main menu on offer till 2am, pizzas till 5am and pub burgers, toasted sandwiches and chips available 24/7.

    Loved the meal, Succulent sirloin steak, side of spinach, butternut and chips mmmmm super delicious. The waitress Gugu, whom served myself and guest on a previous occasion, is always a pleasure, and an amazing hostess. Festive trimmings and always good music, live or not 👏🎄💃🍾

    A few pieces of my son's steak bites were fat only but this was rectified with a side plate of freshly prepared steak bites. However, this didn't spoil our experience, which was wonderful and lovely. The excellent service and good atmosphere always makes us feel so at home. Furthermore, the prawns are definitely a hit for me. Thank you Pirates.

    What a special Christmas day we had with excellent service relaxed cheerful staff and waitresses, lovely touches of just right Christmas decor, delicious food, as always ! Compliments to the chef ! Thank you Pirates, for always delivering consistently good food and ambience.
