Established in 1990 Pirates Steakhouse has been one of Plumstead’s top dining destination for more than three decades winning a number of awards for excellence.

This family-owned business continues to offer local residents good quality, value for money meals, with an in-house Dining Club offering discounts to regulars; signing up is both free and easy.

In addition to the great food and friendly service they have some of Cape Towns top musicians performing in the restaurant nightly.

The separate pub area alongside the restaurant caters for both sport lovers and party goers with big screen TV’s and a dee jay every night till 4am. The kitchen is open around the clock with the main menu on offer till 2am, pizzas till 5am and pub burgers, toasted sandwiches and chips available 24/7.

    What a wonderful afternoon spent at Pirates, celebrating my husband's BIG 5-0! Your prompt response to my queries, meeting with me at the drop of a hat and helpful nature was nothing short of phenomenal. The food, relaxed ambiance and service... absolutely second to none! Lynn, Kim & Reece were super attentive and friendly throughout the event. They truly brought it all together. We've already received such great feedback from our guests, who were first timers - and it looks like you've earned yourselves some new 'repeat offenders' lol. Thank you, to you and your Team.     We had an overal wonderful evening. Ambience, service & music were all great. The food too was great......could have been greater if we could've had loin ribs in stead of belly ribs. But it was still very tasty & the veg too was most enjoyable. The service of our waitress was tops !!. Will def recommend Pirates anytime.

    We loved our time at Pirates .The only thing I can fault you on, is the temp of the aircon.It was a bit too cold,but other than that,we enjoyed the food and service.Thank you for making by birthday special with the birthday voucher I recieved. I enjoyed the best steak.
