The Pavilion provides a unique and luxurious experience that is unmatched in the Valley, and is exclusive to Val de Vie Estate. The Polo Pavilion by Back’s offers a welcome chance to escape the ordinary, dress to impress and transport yourself to a time and place where you can indulge in an intimate dinner or a calm family meal.

We invite all residents and estate guests to embrace and enjoy the refined atmosphere the restaurant provides. Children are welcome, and we kindly ask parents and caregivers to assist in ensuring that the Polo Pavilion remains a peaceful escape for all guests. A custom-made table for 12 guests can also be booked for special occasions like family birthdays or even polo victories.

    Steaks were no where as good as I have had elsewhere. Probably will not return for the steak night experience.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service, atmosphere and food were absolutely outstanding! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel like the most important guests. I brought my family here from another province so they could experience the beautiful views and surroundings of Val de Vie, and the exceptional service was truly an added bonus to their trip. Everything was simply wonderful, and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much for making our visit so special! Deon

    The sushi was amazing and is on the same level like the best sushi places in Cape Town. Also the hazelnut chocolate cake was out of that world. Excellent experience.
