I had the Osso Buco which was dry, hard and inedible. The chef looked at my plate and commented that it was the wrong meat and took the plate away. Food like this should never leave the kitchen and should just go straight to the bin.

We visited for my daughter’s birthday lunch on 28 December. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Both my wife’s rice and my own were served ice cold. My wife’s meal was taken away and she then had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes before it was brought back. It was unclear whether this was the same meal reheated or a freshly prepared one, but at least the temperature was acceptable the second time. It was lunchtime and the restaurant was very quiet, with no more than about 10 people there, so the delays and poor food temperature were surprising. The rice we received tasted like the last portion from the pot, with hard, dry pieces mixed in. The meat was reasonably well prepared and served at an acceptable temperature, neither too hot nor too cold. However, the other side dishes, including the spinach and potatoes, were also more cold than warm. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, especially for a birthday celebration. I would suggest that management takes a closer look at how the restaurant is being run and ensures that someone competent and genuinely invested in managing a restaurant is in charge, as the current standards fall short of what is expected.
