    I had a very good experience at Priva Lounge!, the food was top tier..I had a juicy pork belly with a really nice pumpkin tart on the side. The cocktails are also very good especially their Margaritas and whiskey sour. I will definitely come back to dine with my man so he can enjoy the cigars 😃

    Enjoyed our evening with my family jst that I wasn't aware that no Live Band on Tuesday but food was super good,my PORKBELLY with that pumpkin tart, cracking was out of this World. Weldone Priva see u soon

    The pork belly was dry as hell. I ordered it with a side plate of Greek salad which I didn't enjoy. The salad had more feta than anything else. I also ordered chips and they had a sugary or sweet after taste. I asked for tomato sauce and they gave me, by the time I wanted to use it, it had been taken away. Mind you, it was in a small saucer and not in a bottle. I would have understood if it was in a bottle and other customers needed to use it. When we had to pay our bill we were told confusing stories about how much we needed to pay since I had booked a table and already put down a thousand rand deposit, we were first told that we must minus the 1000 from the bill and there were stories about the service fee and other fees, we paid everything and were then later told that a mistake was made and we needed to be refunded R300 and something. Also, while eating. The waiters kept rushing us to order and then brought the food and rushed us to eat. I had booked a private room and put down a deposit of 1k since It was a celebration. I then cancelled the private room because of the many terms and conditions, including a set menu of 560 per person. I asked that we be moved to normal seating. I also wanted to bring a decor lady who would decorate our table and put up a backdrop, priva told me that this wouldn't work because they don't have enough space in the restaurant. I told the decor lady to reduce the things she would have brought as part of decor because there is no space. The restaurant told me we ll be at the balcony. When I got to the restaurant guess where they placed us? At the same private room I had asked to be moved from. The terms and conditions of using the private room had now miraculously fallen away to my annoyance because I had to compromise on decor because I was told that there s no space in the restaurant and we ll be placed at the balcony and there will be other tables there so space is limited. I would never recommend priva or set foot there again.

    Allow me to explain: You originally booked lunch from 12pm until 5pm for 10 guests. Then moved the booking from lunch to dinner and reduced the number of guests to 5-6, we do not take a small group like that in the private room for dinner and taking that into consideration, you were told that we will seat you in different area. You then again moved the booking to lunch and increased the number of guests so we assumed that you would like to be seated back in the private room as originally agreed on. You were told when you booked that you have to leave by 5pm regardless of if you are in the private room or in any of the other areas as we need to reset the restaurant for dinner service. Knowing that, you still came 2h late and took your time to place an order! When food was served, your waitress encouraged you to eat while food was hot and fresh, instead of eating, you were taking photos and only ate 30-40 minutes later. Of course that your food got cold and dry. Tomato sauce was requested by another guest, so when they finished with their meal, it was cleared of the table. The confusion with the bill was caused by your guests that in the last minute decided to pay for individual bills and split your bill among them. You were refunded with in 2 minutes. All of this could have been avoided if you just came on time, there would have been plenty of time to take photos and eat your meal and fix any mistakes on the way. I hope you understand - We have other reservations that we have to honor and the dinner guests came on time which I cant say for you.

    What a lovely evening at Priva! Food was fantastic, however, our waiter Friday stole the show. What a wonderful human being! We loved his energy and how attentive he was. T-bone steak was done perfectly. And the Pork Belly was moreish! We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu and see Friday again!
