    Misleading menu - Grilled line fish (expensive at R285) was coated in flour before grilling and therefore toxic for gluten free diner. Vegetable curry - vegetables were hard and inedible - asked to cook them to soften, new dish delivered after a wait with green peppers instead of the original vegetables, third dish was acceptable. All dishes arrived at the table after a 40 minute wait and were luke warm. The hamburger was good and value for money, the baked cheese cake was also good, the drinks were all well chilled and good although the house wine at R80 a glass was not good value. The staff tried their best to fix an unhappy group.

    We were well taken care of, what an outstanding service and friendly approach we received from sibongile and Xoli. Sis Xoli made sure we enjoyed the warm dishes. I had loved everything which had given me confidence to recommend the hotel to my clients.

    I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome. The menu offered a delightful variety of dishes, each crafted with attention to detail and fresh ingredients. Every course—from the appetizers to the desserts—was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The chef clearly takes pride in their work, and it shows in every bite. Special mention goes to the waitstaff, who were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. They checked in at just the right times, ensuring our meal was seamless and enjoyable without ever feeling intrusive. Overall, it was a truly memorable dining experience that exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying at the hotel—or even just passing through.
