Protégé is an exciting casual fine dining eatery under the guidance of previous Eat Out Chef of the Year, La Colombe’s Scot Kirton.

Scot is proud to be part of the process of recognising young talented chefs and giving them the opportunity to put themselves on the map. In keeping with this, the restaurant was aptly named Protégé.

The idea with Protégé is to keep it casual and comfortable, working with local suppliers to keep the menu as fresh and as seasonal as possible.

The restaurant space has been designed around the central show kitchen with al fresco dining planned at both ends of the restaurant.

Protégé is open for lunch from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm and for dinner from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

    Spectacular evening at Protege the service was stupendous, the food absolutely delicious and fun factor was so sweet. We would go back again and again!!!

    A modern open plan restaurant with lovely outlook onto garden and trees. Excellent attentive service. We had the spring menu special, from which you can choose 2 or 3 courses. Considering the quality of the cooking very good value. The food is truly outstanding - wonderful rich flavours in every dish. Washed down with some excellent wine from a good selection. Overall a wonderful experience.

    Everything at Protege was fabulous. From the setting, to the service and the food. They accommodated by dietary preference without hesitation. The food was definitely memorable. This was truley fine dining at its best. I would highly recommend this restaurant and can not stop raving about it to friends and family.
