Served in laidback stylish setting with superb views.

mise en place features sophisticated dining and elegant service. We host a maximum of 40 guests per evening, and do not seat tables larger than eight. On fine summer evenings guests may choose to dine on the terrace, which offers a spectacular setting and memorable ambience.

The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday evenings from 6pm onwards. Reservations are highly recommended.

    setting was stunning, service was wonderful, very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Food was great size and delicious!

    No doubt Asara is a stunningly beautiful winefarm, with glorious views and very friendly welcoming staff. The fine dining food offering at Raphael's unfortunately is a major let-down, and the food was truly not worthy of the amazing location. Everything we had was mostly bland, especially the seafood linguine, the springbok was dry and the only vegetarian option as a main meal was a big plateful of steamed cauliflower. Dessert of apple fritters was acceptable, the chocolate fondant was strange..really just chocolate ganache. We did enjoy the cocktails, if not for this I would rate the food 1* Such a shame, as Asara could be a foodie heaven if they poach a good (team of) chef(s) from somewhere!
