    Having visited many times before, we’ve always enjoyed the great food and service. On this occasion, we brought new guests with us for the first time. The fish dishes ordered by our wives were excellent, however, the meat dishes ordered by myself and my friend were disappointing – the meat was tough and not up to the usual standard. The service also fell short this time. Our waiter forgot one guest’s dessert, and we had to remind him. The restaurant was relatively quiet, yet the staff seemed disengaged and not particularly attentive. We know this restaurant can do much better, as we’ve experienced higher standards in the past

    There has never been any question that the quality of food here is fantastic and it doesn't matter what you choose from the menu - BUT - prices have gotten to the level where your middle-income earner won't visit too frequently, and, in fact, will likely make it a once-off dining experience, which is a real pity! :-(
