Nestled in a picturesque river valley, Rickety Bridge Estate offers an enchanting setting where centuries of winemaking tradition blend seamlessly with breathtaking natural beauty. With roots stretching back to 1797, when pioneering landowner Paulina De Villiers established her legacy on this remarkable terrain, our estate continues to honour the spirit of innovation and excellence under the stewardship of the Crosbie family.

Our Wine Tasting Centre, perched on an elevated platform adjacent to our working cellar, features a stunning three-sided glazed façade that frames panoramic views of rolling vineyards and dramatic mountain vistas. Through expansive glass walls, you’ll glimpse our maturation cellar in action, whilst floating terraces beckon you to savour our handcrafted wines surrounded by flourishing vines.

Here, amidst diverse soils and terrain, we invite you to taste our exceptional portfolio of premium wines, each bottle a testament to our commitment to traditional winemaking methods and exceptional quality.

    What a brilliant tour and tasting. Really interesting to see and hear behind the scenes, followed up by a fantastic tasting across a wide range of white, red, rosé and fizz. Our host, Shanice, was amazing. Really knowledgeable but also really friendly. Would highly recommend

    We experienced the wine and cheese pairing. The staff were organised, knowledgeable, and friendly. From our table on the decking we looked onto the garden with the mountains as a backdrop. The wines were top class, and the pairing of cheese was spot on - no surprise there!! The whole experience was an absolute delight.

    The walking tour of the vineyard was very enjoyable, and our host, Ethan, was able to explain a great deal about the vines, grapes, and wines made from them. The cheese and charcuterie platter was very substantial and beautifully presented

    We did a wine blending experience at Rickety Bridge. It was one of the best experiences that I have had at a wine Estate. Zizi guided us through every step and made it so much fun. You get to create your own label for your wine and cork it as well. I would highly recommend doing this experience if you are a wine lover and would like something special to take home with you.

    We took the vineyard tour and it was incredible! Our guide Sallinah was very knowledgeable about the wines and the vineyard. The wine tasting and the charcuterie boards afterwards were top notch. We had 1 person in our group has celiac and they prepared a board just for them without crackers or bead. This tour exceeded our expectations!
