Diners can expect seasonal, comfort homegrown produce crafted with local flavours and traditions, in an elegant and contemporary setting, served alongside a proudly South African beverage list featuring signature cocktails inspired by the nine provinces.

Kindly note that balloons and table décor are not permitted in any of the public venues at One&Only Cape Town Cape Town. Private venues are available upon request.

    What a treat, my expectations were met. 10/10 Made my birthday so so special. I got a VIP experience. It was a good selection. Best best restaurant where you get to experience the SA curated dishes and drinks menu.

    Ah, what an experience! From the lovely ladies at the welcome desk to Litha’s impeccable service- definitely something to write home about. The ambiance was amazing, THE BAND? I could do the ROOI everytime to have amazing food while listening to such voices- THANK YOU! The food was delicious and the price points are reasonable. The ‘different provinces’ cocktails were our highlight and Litha’s explanation of the menu felt like a tour through South Africa- big ups! What a homey experience, S’YABONGA. I’ll definitely see you guys again- thank you.

    ROOI was much more than a dining experience. Great food and a beautiful atmosphere are certainly essential to a restaurant, but what makes an experience truly memorable is its ability to express the identity of a place through them. At ROOI, this connection is remarkably clear. From the flavours and ingredients to the interiors, materials, craftsmanship and overall atmosphere, every element contributes to telling a story that feels deeply connected to South Africa. What impressed me most was the coherence of the experience: nothing feels simply decorative or created for effect. Food, design and hospitality speak the same language, allowing you to discover something about the culture and character of the place while enjoying the evening. As an architect and editorial director, I particularly appreciated this ability to translate local identity into a contemporary experience without losing its authenticity. The buffet is simply **incredible — almost overwhelming in the best possible way!** The choice is enormous, both sweet and savoury, with top-quality ingredients, beautifully presented dishes and an impressive attention to detail. Everything is fresh, refined and delicious. It’s almost impossible to try everything! The setting is equally spectacular, with **stunning, elegant décor** that makes breakfast feel like a real experience rather than just a meal. A special mention must also go to the **genuine five-star service**: warm, attentive and highly professional, with the perfect level of care throughout.
