Best high tea experience in Cape Town, the venue is beautiful with incredible views of the harbour and Table Mountain. The selection of savoury and sweet are both incredible and the portions are generous. I would recommend arriving with an empty stomach to ensure you make the most of the experience.

The experience exceeded expectations. Just want to add the following minor comment to note. We visited March 30th on what was a hot day. We would barely feel air-conditioning in the space, it was rather hot up there and requested the waiter to bring the blinds down. Otherwise the overall experience was very good.

We chose the Royal Tea as our final family celebration with my mother-in-law before she returned home to New Zealand. She saw a TV programme on the Silo and wanted to enjoy this as part of her stay in Cape Town. We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon - thank you!

Overall a very disappointing experience , the high tea all though lovely and high food quality it had more of a Cape Malay feel of food . Which would had be nice to have a heads up , when I asked for the menu to be sent I was told not possible . The overall experience is not a 5 star experience I had numerous issues with booking and when asked to make a birthday plate was told that it was late notice and would need to speak to the chef . After arriving and airing my issues the manager listened and not much more was done although the happy birthday plate appeared ... the was an actual plate with happy birthday embossed on it ! Would rather have a mount Nelson high tea
