    I wish the house DJ could operate for longer however after I learnt about the reasons why he can't play after 10pm We need to be considerate. Other than that everything was great

    Beautiful restaurant, with a beautiful view. I made a reservation for outside seating which was confirmed. Upon my arrival the hostess lady by the name of Mvelo was very rude, unfriendly and unprofessional, her manner of approach was very disgusting which portrayed great disrespect to me as guest. She lied to me and told me that outside the deck restaurant was no more space, even though I reserved she addressed me “as baby girl there is no more space outside, unfortunately you have to sit in a main restaurant and wait for an available space once there is outside”! Well I asked to speak to the manager of the restaurant and she called me another hostess by the name of Thule claiming she was a “manager”! Nonetheless, Thule was very sympathetic, and she handled my concern like a Pro! Please give Thule her roses because wow the lady understands why she is working at the hospitality industry. Thuli managed to get us the table outside immediately and guess what? There was a lot of empty tables on the other side which was not shown to us by Mvelo(the rude lady) yet she said that the deck was full!! How disgusting! But overall Thuli and the manager and the rest of the staff were friendly. Apart from one person who made my night uncomfortable!

    The San Deck is a special place with a great ambiance. All the staff are wonderful. Being able to buy a big selection of wines by the glass is great. The lamb shank is the bast anywhere.

    What a wonderful evening. Celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday. Only wished the team would have made a bit of a birthday fuss over her, however overall ambience and service was great!
