    Service was excellent. The concept of small plates for an Italian inspired restaurant in my opinion does not work. The food was nothing special and very overpriced. Overall a good experience but would not recommend.

    This is the last one of this group for us to try. All we can say is WOW. This group of restaurants is second to none. I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in Cape Town but keep coming back to the Pan Collection because, in our opinion, they have the secret ingredient. I am not just talking food—although this is a journey on its own, I am referring to the service, the staff, the decor, and the authenticity of a brand that truly knows who they are. As a Sales Manager, the first thing I say to someone joining my team is: "What is your USP?" Once you define that, you will succeed. This is exactly what Paulo and his team have defined, from the top down, not just in one restaurant but in the whole group. You are taken on a journey, Italian food, but next level. But here is the real closer: they have mastered the art of providing a 5-star experience at a "normal person’s" cost. In an industry where "premium" often means "unapproachable," they’ve used their specials like the 50% off pasta at Scala or the incredible value at Iron Steak to democratise excellence. They aren't just selling a meal; they are selling accessibility to the best life. It is a masterclass in brand loyalty, and quite frankly, it’s the best ROI for a diner in the city. To Paulo and the team: keep doing what you are doing. You’ve found the gap in the market and filled it with soul. And the best part of this is that we get to start this whole journey again!
