    What a disappointing evening at your restaurant last night !!! Ordered a pizza & pasta. Pizza stood 10 minutes under warming lights until the pasta arrived. When we eventually received the pizza , we told our waitress this was not acceptable as my husband explcitely ordered a HOT pizza served directly after being taken out of the pizza oven. The pizza was taken away , 2 min later it arrived back after it was warmed in the MICROWAVE ! It was returned again as now the dough was soft and soggy. 5 min later the SAME PIZZA arrived with the base completely burnt as it was then put into an oven . The Manager then arrived and told us it was a MISUNDERSTANDING as they thought my husband wanted a crispy pizza?? and he would remove the pizza from our bill. When leaving the restaurants totally disappointed after sharing my pasta dish., the manager totally ignoriert us. Café del Sol you will not be seeing us again and our booking for next week Saturday has been cancelled. What a shame that a your chefs cannot even serve an ordinary simple pizza .

As a returning guest on your third visit to Café del Sol, your experience is very important to us, and I am deeply sorry that your evening ended on such a frustrating note. After investigating what happened with our team, I wanted to clarify the confusion at your table. When your husband requested the pizza "hot," our waiter misheard this as a request for spicy (hot flavor) rather than temperature. This was a clear communication breakdown on our part, and our staff should have double-checked to clarify before placing the order. I also want to reassure you that our kitchen strictly does not use microwaves under any circumstances—our pizzas go straight from our oven to the table. However, in our attempt to adjust the pizza back in the oven after the mix-up, the crust was clearly overcooked and ruined, which is entirely unacceptable. Our manager attempted to explain this mix-up at your table and removed the pizza from your bill to make things right, but we regret that we weren't able to turn your evening around or leave you with a better impression as you departed. We respect your decision to cancel your reservation, but we hope you might consider letting us make this right in the future.     There was never a mention of a hot „spicy „ pizza . How can a pizza be left under a lamp for 10 minutes ? My final word … there is no need for ME to make AMENDS , your staff have given you the wrong facts

    The three guests were very happy with their food choices. Very pleasant evening, our waitron was attentive and so pleasant. The Manager went out of his way to host the evening on the evening they are usually closed! All in all very good and we will be back again xx
