    My daughter had a fantastic time at Settebello for her 18th birthday. The food was excellent and there was more than enough. Her waiter Gift was outstanding. Thank you

    The restaurant is in need of a few tables that are a little more isolated for when you want to have a quiet meal for two people. Looking for a place that has a dining area for 2 to 4 people in Gauteng is not easy. I personally think if they had a couple of rooms for couples, it would be a great hit.

    Service was poor. We waited 10 minutes before we had to flag down a waiter to give us menus. We had to then call another waiter to eventually take our order . The waitress was barely present, we had to call her for everything. Food was mediocre. We won’t be coming back any time soon.

    Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry that your experience didn't meet your expectations. Friday was an exceptionally busy day for us following our 947 "Best Pizza in Joburg" win, and while that certainly explains why we were under pressure, it is not an excuse for any guest feeling overlooked. What does disappoint us is that we had three managers on duty throughout the service, and at no stage was any concern brought to our attention. Had we known you were waiting for menus or felt the service wasn't up to standard, we would have stepped in immediately to try and make things right. We always encourage guests to speak to a manager while they're with us so we have the opportunity to resolve issues there and then. You also mentioned that the food was "mediocre." We'd genuinely appreciate knowing what dishes you ordered and what specifically fell short, as that kind of feedback helps us investigate and improve.
