    Sevruga was a nostalgic restaurant for my wife and i, over a decade ago when we were dating we would frequently visit and enjoy the meals and great cocktails. We decided to take a trip down memory lane and unfortunately were left underwhelmed, service was great but the food was not what we recalled. My wife had the mussel starter and prawn linguini, the mussels had a strange flavour and linguini pasta was overpowered with cheese. I had the calamari starter which was average and 200 gram fillet which i found to be decent. It was a shame as we really wanted the food to be as exceptional as we remembered, again i reiterate- service was great but food not so much.

    I did not enjoy my food nor the drink, only the dessert was nice. I ordered from the winter menu. The beef rib, whatever makes up the source it was too much and could not eat anything after that meal that very brownie soupy put me off the whole day. Thr Mocktail (berry something) was not nice and had a lot of ice instead of the actual drink and for R85 that was underwhelming.
