    We had a delightful lunch. The venue is in a lovely setting with beautiful gardens providing a wonderful combination of genteel history and modern cuisine. The Quail was a perfect example of this, each dish beautifully presented. My choice of the creamy chicken curry was delicious. Our waitress Vee was a treasure, professional and attentive. We did feel that the menu could be extended.

    The food was lovely I enjoyed the ostrich perfectly done, the chef was amazing with our anniversary surprise crème brulé never tasted this amazing before. The service was amazing from reception to the waiter

    The food was delicious. Some flavours were unexpected but worked so well on the palette. We had a fantastic lunch on the veranda with birdsong, frog calls and spring scents wafting across our table. What stood out for us was the Oxtail Spring Rolls, the Duck Breast, and the Peanut Butter Fudge Ice Cream. A special meal for a special occasion.

    I my opinion, The Silver Orange is by far the best restaurant in the Hartbeespoort area.

    THE SEABASS WRAPPED IN HAM WAS MEDIOCRE, STRIPPED FROM HAM, THE BASS HAD BETTER TASTE, HOWEVER LACKING THE WOW...! THE GORGONZOLA FILLET OF MY WIFE WAS QUITE SATISFACTORY!
