    The food was not as good as I thought it would be. The lamb burger was average and the roast veg was overcooked. Lovely setting of course.

    Got order incorrect. Waitress had right order down on paper but kitchen sent out incorrect order and waitress should have remembered and checked all with her order.

    The staff were so gracious, kind and attentive to everyone in our group. The entire restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

    Superb food, great music with live band, great service and ambience amazing. Will be back. Still a Cape Town favourite.

    A surprisingly lovely dinner at Simon's - we have not been for a long time as the service was so bad last time we went for lunch, but we had a really good dinner this time. We did not realise there was a band there on Friday nights and were a bit wary when we saw them but they were quite fun and enjoyable. if you prefer a quieter dinner, ask to be seated at the front. The service was also much better, and the food was mostly delicious - the bobotie parcels were yum, my fillet and pancetta pasta was very tasty, the fish and burger both very good. The sirloin had quite a few sinewy bits in it and may have been better to choose the fillet. All in all we had a very pleasant evening and i would return there for dinner. I think it just gets too busy at lunch and quality suffers!
