    This is our second time eating at Sonny & Irene’s. The first was lunch and last night was dinner. We had traditional gin martins that were perfectly balanced. The small olives complimented the cocktail rather than overwhelm the concoction and were served in a unique glass. We had a cauliflower side dish as an appetizer. The texture and flavor were spot on. Not too firm not too squishy! Our friends had the prawns which were meaty and cooked properly. They raved. My husband had the fried chicken which was good, but not as good as that at Lily’s (a sister restaurant. I had a deboned chicken which was pressed, seasoned, and delish. We were tempted by the dessert selection but were comfortably full. The interior is lovely and there’s room between tables so one doesn’t have to hear other conversations. I highly recommend Sonny & Irene’s. A shout-out to classy Mark, our waiter. Well done!
