    Always a highlight of the year but this time around it felt watered down and as if value was compromised for profit. The burgers we were forced to buy with the ticket were severely over priced, and the light installations felt scant and limited this year. Very sad to see this event head in this direction.

    We truly enjoyed our visit and loved the overall experience of the Light Art exhibition – everything was fantastic! However, we were a bit disappointed with the burger. At R140, it does not come with fries/chips or a drink, which makes it difficult to justify the price. We would suggest including a small portion of fries/chips with the burger. We don’t mind purchasing a drink separately, but adding fries would make the meal feel more complete and appealing. We only opted for the burger because we assumed it included fries and a drink; otherwise, we may not have purchased it. The burger menu, as it stands, could be a deterrent for visitors who want a full meal experience. We love Spier and everything about it, and we hope you can consider this feedback to make the burger offering more enticing.
