    Food was terrible, considering the price. The steak I had was overcooked when I asked for rare it had barely any sauce and was served with nothing all for 300 rand my wife’s vegan meal was 200 rand and it was basically a potatoe and hand full of mushrooms. Service and vibe great, but we will def never eat there again. Very disappointing for the price gosh, better food at Spur. Disappointing.

    We have eaten here many times, and are yet to be disappointed.The cob, pork belly, lamb curry and beef cheek with sweet potato mash dishes were all excellent. The service was friendly and efficient, as always. We will definitely be back.

    Our welcome was a little perfunctory and there was no assistance offered when pulling out the rather large, high-backed chairs (we are both elderly and I have to use a walking stick). I ordered a pink gin (gin and bitters) and no-one knew what it was. My gin was served with a pink tonic. My wife had a gin and tonic - only Fitch and Leeds was available which she dislikes - Schweppes would have been preferable Our meal was very good - one comment my wife made was that her salmon dish had very few (about 3) edamame beans which were specified on the menu - she would have enjoyed a larger portion. Desserts were delicious. Our table waiter was delightful - very pleasant and helpful. It was our first visit to the Vineyard and the ambience was pleasant.
