    Two of us had a pizza which was rather dry and tasteless. One lasagne - comment was "ok" and the fish which was 'pleasant' Wine extortionate prices with BYO at R100 Table laid haphazardly, bench seating dirty from previous people, mirror covered with children hand prints. I waited 5 minutes before our waitron came and asked if I wanted water. And from then on service very slow. Doubtful we will return.

    We had the lunch special. It was excellent, well prepared and generous portions. Definitely great value for money.

    The food was excellent, as always, and the wine list offers very good wines. The only issue was with the service - we weren't shown the specials on the blackboard by our waiter, but fortunately one of our party had seen them as we entered, otherwise we would have been unaware of them (as was the group at a table next to us, who complained that they had also not been aware of them). The waiter was also seldom at our table, and had to be waved down to order coffee at the end, and to pay the bill, and also seemed unclear on some of the dishes (e.g. as to whether or not the fish was battered). Aside from that, a very fine meal and we shall certainly be back.

    We had a really lovely dinner for my husband's birthday. The Burgers and Pizzas were absolutely delicious. Service was great and a nice roaring fire on a cold winters night.
