    We ate the Sushi which since inception has remained of really good quality. The price points were reasonable; the attitude of the staff is always consistently good. The room always seems to be "noisy" despite not being full, perhaps some quiet background music? Having said this, the guests were here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the expereince.

    Sunbird was unexpected. I booked it thinking it was next to the beach, since we’re new to the Western Cape, but it’s actually located inside a gated golf estate—very Stepford Wives vibes. I was a bit worried about the menu at first, but the food and service turned out to be great. My ribeye was initially overcooked (I ordered it rare and it came medium-plus), but once I mentioned it, a perfectly cooked replacement arrived within 12 minutes. Overall, a good experience—just worth noting that it’s inside a gated community rather than a beachside spot.
