I visited Tang Restaurant through a recommendation from DineUp, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The first issue started with my reservation. I tried to confirm my booking, but there seemed to be a problem as they did not have me registered. When I called back for assistance, there was no answer. I then sent a text message, and it took quite some time for them to respond. Eventually, they did resolve the issue, but the delay and lack of communication created unnecessary stress before the visit even began. Once I arrived, I ordered from the set menu that had been provided to me. However, there was very little clarity from the staff regarding the menu options. I asked about each item and whether changes could be made, but I was not given proper explanations or guidance to help me decide if this was truly what I wanted. This made the dining experience feel confusing rather than enjoyable. When the food was served, I could see they were trying to create an ambiance with the presentation and performance around the dishes, which I appreciated. However, the service took far too long, and by the time everything was finally served, my food was cold. Waiting that long took away from the overall experience. In terms of the food itself, it did not feel like a proper five-course fine dining experience. Instead, it felt like random small side dishes placed together without any real flow or thought behind the progression of the meal. The portions were tiny, and the dishes did not justify the price. Overall, I do not feel the experience was worth the money. While the atmosphere had potential, the poor reservation handling, lack of menu clarity, slow service, and underwhelming food made it far from the fine dining experience I expected.

Food was burnt but we tried eating though. Tables are too small but managed. No warning sign for steps after entry, this can cause falls. Smoking area is needed for sure. But nice dark vibe. I still need to review the slip, the cost was way too much. Please send me electronically to check
