I regret not reading the reviews before recommending this restaurant to friends as I wouldn’t have done so, had I known. The others comments about the excruciating noise levels in the restaurant are from able hearing people. Two of our party wear aids and in trying to find a setting that helped, you might as well have been in a spin dryer. The food has improved, and evolved, since our last visit in September, the service is attentive and food comes promptly, it’s a small menu, so it should. It was really difficult to hear our waitress who, kindly, got the music turned down! I’m not going to labour the point re the noise levels but what I would say, if this were my business I’d have heeded the warnings and done something about it. Panels could be put up the stair case that wouldn’t impact on the aesthetic but, improve the volume movement. Given the reviews, having a huge screaming party on the top floor made the restaurant a write off for conversation. Clearly, we won’t be going again, however, regardless of your ability to hear, understand that an Instagram icon three story wall might look great but, it is very much part of the problem and you are booking a restaurant/wine bar, not an art exhibition.

The food was nice. But the experience wasnt because the acoustics were so horrible that we couldn’t have a normal conversation. I felt rushed to eat my food and get out just to have a talk. People were shouting all around across three floors and it was echoing. It drove us crazy and we were happy to be outside again. Wouldn’t go back.

The noise levels were insanely HIGH! Please note that a simple solution is egg boxes under the tables (it takes in some of the sound).

Fabulous food, but OMG so noisy Really need to sort out getting some sound absorption on the ceiling Two tables left while we were there because it was so noisy. You just can’t have conversation if large groups also there Ground floor better apparently but restaurant upstairs not relaxing Soon as they sort it out I’ll definitely go back

A beautiful curated space, the bar is well decorated at the lower floor, the restaurant and top floor is excellent for a relaxed and gastronomic experience.
