Opened in late 2015 at Nelson Mandela Square in the heart of Sandton, Johannesburg The Big Mouth is a dining experience that you could easily find in a major city like New York, LA or London yet is still uniquely South African. Our menu varies from the freshest grilled seafood to gourmet burgers to a selection of world class sushi. The heart of the kitchen is our unique, world renowned Josper grill. This charcoal oven gives our hot dishes an authentic, robust chargrilled or “braai’d” flavour.

    Pathi is an AMAZING waitress!!! She made my mother’s birthday celebration a memorable one with fantastic service! The place gets quite dark at night….Perhaps invest in some table lamps? Also the tables are so tiny for a party of 4 or more. This makes dining difficult. The food is great! Fantastic…But the sushi needs a bit more work (especially the sashimi….I expected more). I would come back though! Solid 7/10 for me
