We are open for lunch from Monday to Sunday between 12.00pm and 2.30pm. The kitchen closes at 3.00pm. Cheeseboards are still available thereafter until close at 4.00pm.
For reservations, please book via Dine Plan below. For special inquiries please call between 9.00am and 11.00am Monday to Friday.
Kindly adhere to your booking time as late arrivals may result in tables being forfeited.
Please note we have two lunchtime seating's – all 12.00pm and 12.30pm bookings will be required to vacate their tables by 2.00pm and 2.30pm respectively.
The maximum booking is 5 guests per table. No children under the age of 12 are permitted. For tables larger than 5 people and private function queries (up to 12 pax only) kindly send an email to bistro@kleinconstantia.co.za.
Kindly note that only wines and water shall be served in the Bistro.
Our menu is seasonal and subject to change.
Please advise us if you have any dietary requirements or require a vegan menu.

    Sublime food , excellent service , this is lunch linger longer , if you vegan do go , phone before hand to tell the chef and you are well looked after , my daughter loved it 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

    Perfect atmosphere, with a toasty fire - Perfect for winter! Food was so tasty and loved that the menu had a few options and our attentive waiter Jeraldo, sold me on the pork belly which was amazing!

    The Klein Constantia Bistro is one of our favourite restaurants, offering a pleasant and serene atmosphere in equally charming surroundings. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there for the third time and apparently inaugurated the new menu on 12 June 2025. Everything is excellent and refined! Congratulations to the chef and his team. See you next time for more delicious discoveries.

    What a wonderful surprise. The farm is magnificent. Winter felt beautiful: the last colourful leaves, silent trees, neatly trimmed vines and and and. The bistro offers a large window to the beautiful grounds, a fabulous fireplace and overall a lovely ambient. Service was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the 3 course menu - a lot! Thank you for a great Sunday!!

    We had an amazing experience at your Bistro After a Fantastic wine tasting experience with the Klein Constantia team our international table of 10 celebrated a special 60th with wonderful food and wine in the comfortable dining hall complete with toasty fireplace. Service was just as warm and everyone left with a smile and a little bottle of Vin de Constance We will be back and thank you all “ Team KK Bistro” Oz, UK & KZN :(

    The setting and ambience are gorgeous. The initial service was very good. We chose a prawn starter and the prawns were overcooked and tough. Our main course was steak onglet which the waiter recommended and I asked if it was tender and not gristly and he assured us it was. It was tough and chewy and gristly. This could not have been missed by the chef as it was sliced in the kitchen and would have been obvious. I watched my husband chew many times before he could swallow but I gave up. Our pomme anna was overcooked, crispy to the point of chips. The manager saw my returned plate and came to check and offered us replacements but my husband had finished his meal and I had eaten enough. Our desserts were delicious. When we left the manager asked my husband if he would like a discount. At that point I think that the bill should have already been reduced by the 2 main courses. My husband declined and paid the full bill and said that I had told him I would not return to the restaurant.
