    I had been really looking forward to this dinner and chose the restaurant specifically to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. When making the reservation, I included a note about the occasion, hoping there might be some small acknowledgment or thoughtful touch to make the evening feel a bit more special. Unfortunately, that detail didn’t seem to be taken into account at all. While the overall experience was good, it felt like a missed opportunity in terms of attention to detail. I didn’t raise it with the staff during the evening, but it did leave me slightly disappointed given the expectations I had going in. I still appreciate the service and atmosphere, but I do think there’s room for improvement when it comes to recognizing and acting on special requests made in advance.

    Wife had the hamburger special and brownie off the new desert menu, while I had the lamb shank and chocolate/whiskey ice cream for desert. Absolutely brilliant.

    Matt was very good and attentive, he came and greeted us by name at the front door-the place is clean, and matches what you see online. Very pleasant experience
