We opened in 1998 and we have been the busiest restaurant in Camps bay since opening. We take pride in our work and provide the best Seafood quality. Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

We do not advertise. We believe that the best advertising is word of mouth of happy guests and this is what has kept us full and busy for the last 17 years! A good name and great reputation cannot be bought. It has been earned through consistency over time.

We have no menus. Our warm and highly trained waitrons instead guide you through our extensive array of delicious and incredible selection of fresh seafood and help you to select an individual plate or platter for the table. They will explain as to the different tastes and textures of the seafood and how the food is prepared and served and show you the cost of your selection.

    Productazo: cigalas, langostino tigre y lenguado. Tambien tienen mas pescados locales y una barra de sushi con muy buena pinta.

    Serioulsy the best sea food restaurant I ever visited (not counting Japan, of course, nobody can beat them). Great experience with the fresh fish shop in the restaurant, great cooking, even the side veggies and sauces are delicious to not let a single piece or drop! All the waiters were super nice and caring. Beautiful sushi selection. Be aware it's a bit aggitated and noisy; fish market happy vibes :) To not miss when visiting Capetown !

    Never fails to impress. Busy, noisy, great atmosphere, amazing food cooked to order and you pay by the weight you eat. Fabulous selection of fresh fish to choose from. Staff are attentive and great fun. Good wine list too.

    We’ve been to Codfather 13 times now, and each visit reminds us why it’s our go-to spot in Cape Town. The seafood is always fresh and beautifully prepared, the service attentive yet relaxed, and the atmosphere welcoming whether you’re celebrating or just enjoying a casual night out.
