We opened in 1998 and we have been the busiest restaurant in Camps bay since opening. We take pride in our work and provide the best Seafood quality. Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

We do not advertise. We believe that the best advertising is word of mouth of happy guests and this is what has kept us full and busy for the last 17 years! A good name and great reputation cannot be bought. It has been earned through consistency over time.

We have no menus. Our warm and highly trained waitrons instead guide you through our extensive array of delicious and incredible selection of fresh seafood and help you to select an individual plate or platter for the table. They will explain as to the different tastes and textures of the seafood and how the food is prepared and served and show you the cost of your selection.

    I recommend but for dinner in a sunny day because the restaurant don't have a good view. In a cloud day ,ok. The food is excelent and the possibilitie to see and choice what to eat is very gratiful

    Dining at Codfathers was nothing short of exceptional. What began as a simple birthday dinner quickly turned into a truly memorable celebration. From the manager’s warm welcome to the service from the staff, made it remarkable experience. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent cuisine.

    Eventhough the fish and seafood is so incredibly fresh and well prepared and delicious, it cannot compare with the fabulous staff who are so friendly and helpful and all together great. Shout out to Meme, she is the best!

    Fabulous experience! Food was delicious and great selection of local wines. Highlight was the staff who were all so friendly, happy, helpful and passionate. Would highly recommend Codfather!
