We opened in 1998 and we have been the busiest restaurant in Camps bay since opening. We take pride in our work and provide the best Seafood quality. Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

We do not advertise. We believe that the best advertising is word of mouth of happy guests and this is what has kept us full and busy for the last 17 years! A good name and great reputation cannot be bought. It has been earned through consistency over time.

We have no menus. Our warm and highly trained waitrons instead guide you through our extensive array of delicious and incredible selection of fresh seafood and help you to select an individual plate or platter for the table. They will explain as to the different tastes and textures of the seafood and how the food is prepared and served and show you the cost of your selection.

The experience was fun and our fish was great. We had the local fish, potatoes and vegetables. It was good value and having reserved we had a table overlooking the sea, which was lovely. The sushi bar was popular, but did not appeal as much as other restaurents near by. As mentioned by others this is a noisy restaurent. As the food comes quickly thats not a problem.

We visited Codfather again. This time, we were assigned a table for four at the edge of the sushi carousel. The tables there are very close together, making it extremely noisy, almost impossible to have a conversation. The food was very good. The service this time was only satisfactory; we had the impression that our waiter wasn't very experienced. The timing could have been improved; we had to wait a long time and were repeatedly put off.

Always welcoming reception. Service very slightly iffy yesterday but very friendly. Restaurant is our favourite in Camps Bay.

This was a restaurant like no other we have been to. With no menu but a unique experience to choose your fish selection. and where the meal cost is measured by the weight of your choice. Our server was very helpful in explaining everything which was on offer which we much appreciated as novices. We opted for Kingklip, a white fish. It was cooked simply but was absolutely delicious. We would recommend this restaurant to others - even if like us you are not lovers of shellfish or sushi!
