We opened in 1998 and we have been the busiest restaurant in Camps bay since opening. We take pride in our work and provide the best Seafood quality. Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

We do not advertise. We believe that the best advertising is word of mouth of happy guests and this is what has kept us full and busy for the last 17 years! A good name and great reputation cannot be bought. It has been earned through consistency over time.

We have no menus. Our warm and highly trained waitrons instead guide you through our extensive array of delicious and incredible selection of fresh seafood and help you to select an individual plate or platter for the table. They will explain as to the different tastes and textures of the seafood and how the food is prepared and served and show you the cost of your selection.

    Codfather was recommended to us from a variety of sources. The experience was not a disappointment. We had to rearrange our visit due to my wife being ill on her birthday. When we arrived a few days later we were still welcomed with birthday bubbly! One of the many highlights of our trip to Cape Town

    This is our favourite restaurant in Camps Bay. It's such a wonderful experience being able to choose your fish and have it cooked for you. I have to be very careful with prawns and cross-contamination and this was handled so well and without any contamination. We are looking forward to our next visit!
