We opened in 1998 and we have been the busiest restaurant in Camps bay since opening. We take pride in our work and provide the best Seafood quality. Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

We do not advertise. We believe that the best advertising is word of mouth of happy guests and this is what has kept us full and busy for the last 17 years! A good name and great reputation cannot be bought. It has been earned through consistency over time.

We have no menus. Our warm and highly trained waitrons instead guide you through our extensive array of delicious and incredible selection of fresh seafood and help you to select an individual plate or platter for the table. They will explain as to the different tastes and textures of the seafood and how the food is prepared and served and show you the cost of your selection.

    Fresh seafood and flavour is there, just can’t go wrong with lemon butter. But , it’s quite pricey, for once off experience, it’s worth.

    An evening at the Codfather is always special - great fresh seafood, superbly presented and cooked, I recommend booking a table in the wine cellar which is cooler and quieter than the main restaurant. Parking is always an issue in Camps Bay, especially in weekends so leave time to walk from the car to the restaurant. Bill for 4, including one bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and tip - R3400.

    Great place and great concept, everyone is friendly and food is good. Do not expect to be in there for too long, turnaround is quicker than usual restaurant
