The Deli Social is a warm, community-driven deli, bakery, and pantry nestled in the heart of Hout Bay. We celebrate local flavours, seasonal produce, and South Africa’s artisanal food culture through curated grazing boards, handcrafted sandwiches, and small-batch baked goods fresh from our micro-bakery. We source our cheeses, charcuterie, and ferments from some of the Cape’s most exciting producers, and our ever-changing menu highlights the best of what’s local, wild, and in season.     I had the most incredible experience at Deli and Social last night. The food was exceptional, fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. Every dish felt thoughtfully put together and completely exceeded expectations. The service was absolutely tip-top. The team were warm, attentive, and genuinely made the experience feel special without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere was also spot-on: relaxed, stylish, and full of good energy. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel comfortable and know you’re in for a great evening. I can’t wait to go back, highly recommend!

    THE place to eat in Hout Bay. Friendly attentive service, beautiful, fresh and tasty fine dining level food at a great price point. Literally cannot fault this restaurant :-)
