Enjoy the flavours of the countryside and the relaxing farm ambiance in an old stable, restored with care by the Louw family, where they’ve been making wine for six generations. Here locally grown and regionally sourced produce inspire Chef Martin De Kock to blend his classical French training with the flavours of Provencal France, Spain and a touch of Asia. The herbs and some of the vegetables are from the kitchen garden, the preserves and pickles are home-made and the bread freshly baked. Diemersdal Farm Eatery is closed on Mondays.

    Another stellar lunch at the always inventive Diemersdal, always on point in terms of service and beautiful food in a laid back, yet still elegant setting.

    On a Sunday the set tapa's menu is very specialised and a little baroque, somewhat overdone with the aim of pairing many "flavours" in a combination which is not always a great success. Clearly the chef is having a field day but should perhaps consider keeping things a bit simpler. At times the waiting before each course can be a bit tediously long as well. Other than that most people will find it an enjoyable experience.

    Love the menu, you can either do tapas or just have a delicious steak with chips. Atmosphere great and the staff are so friendly and provide keen service with a smile! We had a splendid lunch!
