Enjoy the flavours of the countryside and the relaxing farm ambiance in an old stable, restored with care by the Louw family, where they’ve been making wine for six generations. Here locally grown and regionally sourced produce inspire Chef Martin De Kock to blend his classical French training with the flavours of Provencal France, Spain and a touch of Asia. The herbs and some of the vegetables are from the kitchen garden, the preserves and pickles are home-made and the bread freshly baked. Diemersdal Farm Eatery is closed on Mondays.

Diemersdal has a set menu on Sundays. Tapas style and sharing. They specifically made a separate menu for us being Gluten Free. Both set menu's were delicious and the service was excellent. The Diemersdal Grenache wine although a bit pricey is fantastic. The Farm Eatery lunch is set in a small but beautiful old shed ( renovated) that has great ambience.

Staff were excellent as were the wines. Food - some items overpowered the subtle flavours one wanted to enjoy, like the beetroot completely overpowered the smoked hazelnut; My Duck Leg Cassoulet was dry - too long on the pass? The Lime Tart with white chocolate was a delight.

Overall nice experience. Pity about the load music and for us inappropriate music… whilst I like Jon Bonjovi probably not suited for lunch at an upmarket venue. Music was changed but only after we made a comment about it. French fries were terrible, tasted old and stale. Rest of the dishes were very good.
