Contemporary Cuisine in an Extraordinary Space.

For outside guests a deposit of R250 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

Dining in The Granary Café is a unique experience. The menu inherits the same comfortable, eclectic and contemporary style as Liz Biden’s hotel interiors. Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert and her team believe in good, honest and approachable food that showcases seasonal, local ingredients.

    I took my family for my husband's birthday,bad experience,service was really bad,the male waiter who was serving had attitude for some reasons known to him and spoiled our evening,it was bad,it's like he was doing us a favour serving us,He served us one bottle of water which he just poore once and a little in our glasses but on our bill we were charged for 2bottles which we were all shocked but ended up paying because we did not want to cause a in and he was ready to talk back and maintaining that he served us 2 bottles.He was really mean.The food was average,not much choice on the menu.This waiter when my husband ordered the wine in the menu,he suggested different wine that was not even on the menu and it was cooked,old opened bottle that was sitting somewhere for days and he thought of serving us.It was disappointing to say the least.

    My family and I had a lovely time at The Granary Cafe. I would like to extend a big thank you to Angus he made our experience truly memorable. As a result, we will definitely be coming back for dinner or afternoon tea. Thank you again, Angus.

    Stunning place..the food is out of this world. Me and my husband had a beautiful anniversary dinner..the desert was amazing.

    It was the first time that I hosted more than 4 guests and the service staff and kitchen staff were impeccable. I was there to celebrate a 2 year anniversary with a client and everything ran perfectly.
