Contemporary Cuisine in an Extraordinary Space.

For outside guests a deposit of R250 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

Dining in The Granary Café is a unique experience. The menu inherits the same comfortable, eclectic and contemporary style as Liz Biden’s hotel interiors. Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert and her team believe in good, honest and approachable food that showcases seasonal, local ingredients.

    Chips were not cooked through and sea bass wasn’t as expected . Two of the meals were good , pasta and chicken dish. Two meals removed from bill, which was generous of staff . Beautiful setting .

    Great service. Beautiful ambience , however I would not return for the food. This was very underwhelming. We were the only people there for lunch , so maybe they were understaffed but n the kitchen. Fries were partially raw, tartar was brown and the Thai Duck salad was so salty we couldn’t eat it.

    Unfortunately, we had a waiter who was obviously in a bad mood. He didn't even greet us properly. The service throughout the evening was listless and unfriendly. The food wasn't very tasty either; we would have expected more from The Silo.
