Contemporary Cuisine in an Extraordinary Space.

For outside guests a deposit of R250 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

Dining in The Granary Café is a unique experience. The menu inherits the same comfortable, eclectic and contemporary style as Liz Biden’s hotel interiors. Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert and her team believe in good, honest and approachable food that showcases seasonal, local ingredients.

    I booked a table in Geanary cafe for my husband birthdays dinner two weeks before it and wrote comment that we would have a special occasion but when we came to restaurant it was said that there are no free tables and we can wate in other bar . I can’t understand why they didn’t reserve the table if I did it 2 weeks before and they could put on our table “ reserved” sign . This is cafe in expensive hotel and I think they must keep very high level . For my trip I booked a lot of restaurants and this was the only one place who didn’t pay attention to their bookings . This was the birthday of my husband and I was disappointed that I chose this restaurant in spite of the beautiful view. The food is ok but not special, again there is nothing there except panoramic view.

    Good Afternoon. My husband and I were invited to a complimentary meal by the Granary Cafe to offer us a redo of our anniversary dinner that we had in October this year. Unfortunately, our previous experience was less than favorable, however, this time we can confidently say they redeemed themselves. Our waiter was lovely and attentive, the food from the starters to desert including our drinks were delicious and we really got to enjoy the whole experience again only with so much better food and service. We would like to say thank you to the team at Granary Cafe Silo, we really appreciate your generous offer to do a redo dinner for our 15-year wedding anniversary, and it was certainly a date night to remember.
