The food was very good but surprisingly a bit too spicy - wine pairing was very good though

Food was ok but for a place with a limited menu I didn't expect the chef to forget one of the main ingredients in one of the dishes. We had to point it out and request for it. The dish was also much nicer at bootlegger, which is a bit embarrassing for a place like the silo. Service was friendly at beginning and end but server was a bit austere and the place feels a little pretentious for what it is. While it wasn't unpleasant, there are much better options for food and service in Cape town.

Overall, it was a great afternoon and dietaries were taken care of. But we were a bit disappointed by the food - the scones were a bit stale, and some of the cakes weren’t fresh - and the service of tea and water was also a bit slow, we had to keep asking. For the price we paid, I would’ve hoped for a higher quality afternoon tea.
