Contemporary Cuisine in an Extraordinary Space.

For outside guests a deposit of R250 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

Dining in The Granary Café is a unique experience. The menu inherits the same comfortable, eclectic and contemporary style as Liz Biden’s hotel interiors. Executive Chef Veronica Canha-Hibbert and her team believe in good, honest and approachable food that showcases seasonal, local ingredients.

    Such a beautiful restaurant but sadly, the food did not live up to the ambiance. The staff was lovely, the views where great from most every table but our 3 entrees were lacking. The chicken was overcooked and the fish was not impeccable, as it should be in a restaurant like this. The red curry sauce could have used a little more punch however the seafood was very fresh and well cooked. The decor, I must add, is just spectacular.

    A large group of us had a wonderful evening dining in the Granary the food was wonderful and the service impeccable. I have been before and I will come again !

    This was a perfect lunch in one of the most beautiful locations in Capetown. The welcome was like always so nice and you feel like coming home. The entire team was lovely. We had the lunch menue from the Restaurant week. It was cooked to perfection and on top they Server our Cappuccino at the roof top bar. We will definitely be back at this wonderful place.

    19 April 2026 Takudzwa & Kudakwashe (Zimbabwe) This was the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! ♡ Thanks so much to our waiter Phillip, he was so kind and patient with us. Made our experience more enjoyable. He is the best!! The reception gave us such a warm welcome 😊 We have forgotten his name but he’s Congolese and stays in Pinelands, from Kinshasa. to everyone we met was so welcoming. Best staff we have encountered on our trip!!!
