    Great steaks, very attentive and charming service, good value for money, but pricey and our evening went as expected: enjoyable and a good finish to the year. The only thing none of us liked were the cappuccinos. Coffee way too strong and no decent milk froth, but I wouldn’t want to sound petty. We sat at the back of the restaurant - not my favourite section, but we were 7 and needed a bigger table. Overall a commendable experience.

    Although we live in Pretoria, this is one of my favourite places to eat at when in the area. The staff are friendly and efficient, and we do enjoy the atmosphere of an upmarket grill house, specialising in meat dishes. My son and his girlfriend had the sirloin and rump respectively. My daughter had calamari - all of which they enjoyed. My younger son and I both had chicken dishes, which unfortunately were way overcooked and dry - I was somewhat disappointed and wished I had ordered a steak, which looked so good! Drinks were cold, cocktails delightful and instead of dessert, I opted for a whiskey from their extensive whisky menu, which is also a bonus. So, a slight mark down on the food for the poor chicken dishes, but otherwise completely what one expects from a restaurant of this quality.
