Located on Beach Road in Cape Towns coastal village of Melkbosstrand, The Hart's food and service is only matched by its seaside views. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy and our staff efficient and welcoming. Our childrens menu caters for even the fussiest of eaters and the furry members of the family are provided with water bowls. The deck area is the perfect spot to enjoy our signature cocktails in the summer and coffee under heaters in the winter. Our menu is well designed, the food mouth-watering and most importantly, made with love.

    We love The Hart, we’re pretty much locals at this point. The food is incredible, great view, awesome waiters & waitresses! We also love that we can bring our doggo with us. Could not recommend enough.

    Lovely atmosphere, service was excellent. Our breakfasts were excellent - all in all a good experience. Lovely start to the day.

    Food was okay, dessert (cheesecake) was absolutely horrible and 4 people had to send it back, only for the manager to invalidate their feedback. The service was absolutely poor - unfriendly and cold waiter, did make us feel welcome at all. It was a very unpleasant experience and poor service.
