Voted the Best Restaurant in Camps Bay according to TripAdvisor 2014, The Hussar Grill Camps Bay is situated in one of Cape Town’s most beautiful and glamorous locations, with outstanding views that only Camps Bay can offer. Slightly bigger than most other Hussar Grills, it offers a distinct dining experience in a setting that is reminiscent of old-school dining complete with dark wood finishings, banquet-style seating and wooden wine crates. In winter a fireplace adds to the relaxed, cozy ambience.

    Copied directly from my Google review: “Went to The Hussar Grill Camps Bay last night and arrived quite early — our booking was for 5pm, so we basically opened the doors for the night haha! Before even being seated, we really needed the restroom and ended up being greeted by each and every staff member. “Lovely team” honestly feels like such an underrated description of how incredibly kind everyone was. Special mention to Nobu — what an absolute gem! She checked in on my partner and me throughout the evening. We were sad not to see her on our way out so we could properly thank her again. And Dylan… wow!!! Our glasses were never empty, the dishes kept coming seamlessly, and his service throughout the night was just exceptional. We also got to experience a little of Joseph’s warm energy too! We will definitely be returning to this particular branch because of all of this! Words can’t express how grateful we are to everyone who made our anniversary feel so special. And let’s not forget the lovely lady (who we think is part of management) who came to check in on us, chat about the food, and wish us a happy anniversary. Thank you so much, team!!! ❤️”

    Once again we had a fab evening at the Camps Bay Hussar Grill which is by far the best! We all had the date night menu which is on a Tuesday and is fantastic value. It comes with an excellent bottle of either red or white wine per couple and you can choose either the 2 or 3 course menu. Every dish was delicious and our steaks were superb. Can also highly recommend the malva pudding which comes with custard, ice cream and a toffee sauce and also their creme brulee is which is light and delicious. To top it all we had warm and excellent service and all in all a fantastic and memorable evening with good friends.
