    Our experience at this Franshoek location was amazing. Each of our steaks were perfectly cooked. Sides were beautiful the wine selection was incredible and the staff ensured that we had the best service. Nothing was lacking. Will be dreaming about returning! Well done ✔️

    Our meal and dining experience at Hussar Grill was very memorable! My daughter said that her burger was the best she has ever had. The butternut squash with spinach was incredible and of course the steaks (ribeye and filet with mustard sauce) were perfectly done. We loved dining on the terrace. Our waiter was very cheerful and helpful and he even brought us complimentary dessert drinks for the family after the meal. It was a perfect evening!

    My wife and I ate here on 5th January. Having booked a few days earlier, we couldn't get a table on the stoep, but on arrival, we were shown to a table at the back of the main restaurant but on asking the maitre'd, we were given a table there. Our waiter greeted us warmly and took our order for drinks and food quite promptly. However, the table was never fully re-laid until our food actually arrived, despite a number of staff members standing close to us and after we had asked for cutlery etc. Just before our steaks arrived, we were informed that the garlic potatoes would be another 10 minutes, which we thought was a bit strange given our original order had included this side. We settled for chips. The food was fantastic, steaks cooked perfectly. The service was a little bit lacking. We noticed there seemed to be two large groups on the terrace but surely garlic potatoes could be delivered to the table at the same time as the rest of our order.

    Disorganised, very noisy table given asked to be moved they said the table was booked which was a lie! Food took 45 mins to arrive When we got back to accommodation I had a missed call asking was I going to the Hussair tonight ,table booked via dine plan! we had already been !!!

    I’ve been going to Hussar Grill Franschhoek for 10 years with a variety of friends & family. Their steak 🥩 is always excellent and cooked to perfection and we like to end off with a Dom Pedro. I’m a long time client but was the 1st time they didn’t have game meat in stock, other than that, we had an excellent time with great food & service as always.

    There are not many decent tables in the main dining room..we asked to be moved from the kitchen serving area..
