Established in 1964, the Rondebosch Hussar Grill is one of the oldest grillrooms in the country and is a true Capetonian favourite that has been serving the finest South Africa beef to generations of loyal and dedicated guests for the past 50 years. Situated in the leafy suburb of Rondebosch, the restaurant is filled with character and embodies the finest of grill room traditions. As the original Hussar Grill, it remains the benchmark against which all the others are measured.

    We ordered 2 x Marrow Bone Ribeye Steaks and one Sirloin and Prawns. The quality of the steak was great but we ordered medium rare and all three steaks were on the blue side of rare. So unfortunately this time you lost two stars. We had a stunning evening nonetheless and Husar Rondebosch remains one of my favourite restaurants.
