Established in 1964, the Rondebosch Hussar Grill is one of the oldest grillrooms in the country and is a true Capetonian favourite that has been serving the finest South Africa beef to generations of loyal and dedicated guests for the past 50 years. Situated in the leafy suburb of Rondebosch, the restaurant is filled with character and embodies the finest of grill room traditions.     Sent my steak back twice as undercooked. R390 for 500g filtet on the bone. In the end i couldn't eat much of it as it wqs tough with large sinew and tendons still present. Very disappointing. My wife had pork belly. Cracking portion was not crackling but tough and chewy. First time back to Hussar in a while. May be sticking to Rare Grill.

    We enjoyed the seasonal lunch options. Delicious calamari and steak. Love the onion rings and pepper sauce. Highly recommended. Thank you Hussar Grill for a nice birthday lunch.
