    We had a brilliant time. No ONE but No ONE does ribs like The Hussar Grill. And our waitron, Michelle, what a gem. She was friendly and attentive without being forward. She helped to make the evening a most enjoyable one (we had overseas guests).

    We eat at the Hussar grill in steenberg fairly regularly and have always had an amazing dining experience. Last night however, was not great. We were a party of four for date night. Myself and another diner had the mussel starter which while delicious was not hot and we said nothing, we followed it with 3 sirloins which were faultless and my wifes order of pork belly which was cold. Not luke warm, out of the fridge cold! the waitress acknowledged the problem and took the plate away. She returned it shortly but it was still cold in the middle and back it went again. The manager apologised and gave my wife a free glass of wine. By the time the pork finally returned everyone else had finished their mains and my wife had had enough, we asked for it to be put in a doggy bag, paid and left. I realise mistakes happen but this one wasn't handled very well. We will go back as the place is too good to give up on.

    It's such a pity you have removed 2 starters. The black mushroom was my favourite. My husband enjoyed the other one.
