The Jetty restaurant is part of Fryer’s Cove Community Development Project and it is here where our wines truly shine. In their natural habitat paired with home-cooked west coast favourites such as Snoekkoekies (fish cakes), Kerrievis (pickled fish) and Roosterkoek, Freshly caught line fish and more. On summer days you can sit back and enjoy a fish braai on the jetty, prawn pans and the sounds of great friends coming together.

Our wines may be able to hold their own on tables and menus across the globe, but their humble beginnings in a small West Coast fishing village is where they like to let their hair down. As waves crash at your feet and seagulls soar across the skies, the local cries of the fishermen remind us of where it all comes together. Great food enhanced by great wines and even better company.

The Jetty restaurant is a joint project with the local community.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and wine and the service was excellent. Don’t be put off by the drive up to the restaurant as Fryers Cove is a little oasis.

    We had an incredible afternoon on the jetty surrounded by the Atlantic. The umbrellas helped with sun but be mindful that the wind can be nippy so a light jacket suggested. Service was great and we loved hearing about the local goings on from our life long Doringbaaier waitron. The food was excellent and good value. We enjoyed sharing some weskus flavoured starters . We enjoyed the hake main but next time will enjoy sharing more of the more unique starters and light meals. First time we have tasted the Fryers Cove Chenin and it is now a firm easy drinking summer favourite. Thank you for a wonderful memory Fryers Cove. We look forward to many more.

    Staff struggle to keep up with pace & numbers. We were in a group where some had finished their main meal while we were still waiting for our food, just to find out our order was never placed with the kitchen!
