The Kraal Restaurant at Joostenberg Wine Estate, is a laid back, farm restaurant, serving slow, seasonal set menu three course lunches and organic estate wines. Tables are set between fruit and olive trees in the shaded, stone walled courtyard in summer, and inside the cosy, rustic wagenhuis in winter. Allow some time to enjoy a relaxed, informative tasting of our wines and to stroll through the werf garden and admire the authentic, original Cape Dutch architecture.

    Tucked away from the bustle in a beautiful setting at Joostenberg Estate, perfectly composed lunch in the Kraal, very professional waiters. A definite must if you’re in the region.

    Lovely venue if you have small children as lots of outdoor space for them to run around. Homely, farm style food in a lovely rustic setting

    Thank you so much The kraal restaurant for a fabulous and perfect 50th celebration lunch with my familie and friends. We could not ask for more better food, fantastic wine , venue and frendlier staff. Everyone enjoyed every moment and we did not want to leave. The food is just the best in season quality and never dissappoint! Defenitly our favourite restaurant in the Winelands and we go back everytime!
