    We did a two-couple dinner and went for two of the 7 piece started combos. This was enough food that we skipped the mains. We loved all the dishes, especially enjoying the fact that there were corn tortillas for the tacos (which are hard to find in Johannesburg restaurants). The flavours were all on-point and the manager coming around to tell the story of the place was a good introduction to the concept. The only thing that bothered me a little was the sound treatment - when the place was full it was quite hard to hear the other people at our table. Some soft furnishings could go a long way to making this a regular place for us.

    The ceviche stone is very small for R450. Consider doubling the portions. I had the pork belly and it was terrible. Very dry, like it had been sitting for a long time. The chocolate mouse tasted like instant pudding from a packet. Overall I was disappointed with the food but the Pisco sours cocktail was delicious and the waiter was conscientious, almost to the point of being overbearing.
