The Lookout Deck sits two stories higher than the open Indian Ocean and is considered a destination for locals and visitors. Sitting directly on the Keurbooms Lagoon
and Lookout Beach, The Lookout Deck offers unobstructed ocean views, gentle breezes, and the glamorous light of Pletts famous sunsets to add a hint of tropical colour to your cocktail.
A place where neighbours, friends, family and even strangers come together for a memorable Plett experience. After all, this is what you came to Plett for.
We do not take bookings on the Deck and work on a first come first serve basis!
Joining The Deck is its “big sister” Equinox flame & flavour. Literally sea-side, Equinox sits on the Lookout beach and offers holiday makers and residents a classy and casual choice, while celebrating the best of what Plett has to offer – extraordinary seascapes, blue flag beaches, great food and good company.     We had a really great 88th birthday party here. Organised perfectly, food delicious, staff really friendly and helpful. A lovely evening.

    Relaxing atmosphere and the view to the ocean is great. Just loved it! Also having Shaza there is absolutely 💯.

    Miscommunication with regards to my group birthday booking, but thanks to Elzaan Cloete everything worked out perfectly. She organized and saved the day within minutes. A real "vasvatter" I'll definitely make use of them again, even after the bumpy start. Thumbs up

    Great dining experience! Unfortunately the rain made it impossible to sit on the deck but we enjoyed the indoor experience too!

    I was soo excited to have the opportunity to have one more lunch at The Lookout on Monday 6th April before I left to go back to Cape Town. As usual it was so awesome. There was also a live singer there and it was just so festive! I was served by Zola who was as usual so friendly, efficient and wonderful. Thanks to you all.. Sam, Saki, Abo, Masi, Zola and Riaan for everything..as I said previously..you guys rock! I'm not sure when I will be back in Plett but I will definitely be coming back. Kind regards Liz

    Waitress kept on not bringing our requirements but it was super busy. My seared tuna was cold inside and my husband’s kingklip wasn’t straight out of kitchen either as it had cooled down. Had all to do with waitress and it was a busy evening. Food was delicious though and our German guests loved our choice of restaurant.
