The restaurant is home to the finest oysters in Cape Town, carefully sourced, the oysters are freshly shucked to order, and are on promotion at R15.00 each, all day, every day.

    Our meal at The Lookout Hout Bay was delicious. We had a prawn starter and then went on to sushi. Great service and the most beautiful views of the sea and mountains. We will be back for more!!

    All was wonderful! The only issue was two loud tables of drunk patrons - just makes it very unpleasant. Some people really believe that their loud-mouthed comments are of interest to all in the restaurant. Would love management to intervene & have a quiet word with the offenders - just ruins one’s evening

    Sushi was excellent! Oyster smaller than we had in Nov '25 and more shell grid/pieces, which isn't very nice between one's teeth.

    We had the pan fried prawns. They were too small and too soft. Would have preferred larger prawns and less of them. Have eaten here often and always loved the food. And service and ambience. First time we have had the prawns.

    Lovely evening always like The Deck - staff are fantastic. Food is okay ish- personally I prefer my food served hotter. I would prefer it they bought the food out individually as it’s cooked and not wait for the table to be served all at once. We were sat inside too. But I will return as love the vibe there
