Melkbos Kitchen features a front row seat to the most beautiful sunsets in South Africa.

Come enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner with us. We have a varied menu (with vegan options) that changes seasonally as well as a blackboard with current linefish or any other specials we may be running at the time

Sun, Mon & Wed 10h00 – 17h00
Thur, Fri & Sat 10h00 - 21h00
Tuesdays Closed

Kindly note that we are in a residential area with strict zoning restrictions so our last food orders and last drinks rounds are called well in advance to comply with these rather boring but strictly enforced zoning restrictions.

We do love children and furry friends but are primarily an adult based environment so do not offer a play area for children or a kiddies menu. Furry ones are welcome in our outdoor area only as long as they remain on their leash, are not aggressive to other guests, furry ones or our team and they may not sit on our chairs or be fed in the dining area.

We are a strictly no smoking venue, regardless of what you puff ... a bench is however provided in an area outside of the dining areas for our smoking guests.

As a limited capacity venue we do advise that reservations are made well in advance..

    We had a wonderful lunch. The food was delicious and the chef accommodating the gluten issues of our guests. Our server Darren was friendly and did not interrupt unless necessary. Thank you

    They managed a table of 10 extremely well.Everyone enjoyed the food . They were very accomodating due to the uncertainty of the weather and so booked inside and outside for us.

    As always, a beautiful experience and consistently delicious food. Try the tempura cauliflower or prawns if you haven't already....double YUM!

    We had a glorious evening at Melkbos Kitchen last night, the setting is so beautiful, the service was great and most importantly, the food was fantastic. Thanks guys, we really enjoyed ourselves.

    I forgot how good it is here! It has been a while since my last visit. Our food was exceptional. I especially loved my peri peri prawn and chicken kebab. The kiddies chicken strips and chips were so nice too (too often children are given frozen foods and this was delicious and fresh).
