    Food was lovely, however a lot of it is deep fried and very rich. The price was expensive even for people sharing on a discounted restaurant week voucher, not particularly somewhere I would recommend going to again if you want value for money and good food, also we were crammed into a small space so it was loud.

    The noise from a group of 8 people made it impossible for my partner and I to talk. The location has zero acoustic support Tried to move - manager said not possible So… we packed up our food and took it go. Pity.

    When. a restaurant takes part for the restaurant weeks , it should be really a difference in the price . The one of everything in the normal menue is 865 rand .Enough for 2 people . And the offer now is two times 395.r . So you have a profit of 75 rand for 2 people . This is only disappointing. And i‘m really a fan of this restaurant.

    Definitely would recommend, delicious foo and great value for menu. Highlights were the fish tacos and mussel dish.

    I recently visited The Melting Pot in De Waterkant and had a mixed experience. The food was definitely the highlight — Thai-inspired dishes that were flavorful and well-prepared. While the portions weren’t particularly large, they were satisfying enough to leave you feeling full. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the food. The staff came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. The atmosphere also felt quite cold and lacked warmth, which didn’t help set a comfortable dining tone. One thing that stood out was the noticeable change in attitude when we mentioned we were there for the Restaurant Week special — the staff didn’t seem pleased, which was disappointing. Overall, good food, but the service and ambiance leave a lot of room for improvement.
