    Thanks so much for a beautiful afternoon at the Old Oak. We loved it there. I was just surprised that the Aglio Olio pasta was fiery. But otherwise the play area is amazing and so were the kids’ meals and s’mores.

    Lovely place. Service was slow on our arrival I had to wait 30 minutes before we received service. I enjoyed the food but I vomited just after having cupcino.

    I am very disappointed with the service I received at Old Oak. I had made a reservation for myself and a friend at 13:30. Knowing we would be 15–20 minutes late, I tried calling the restaurant multiple times and even sent a WhatsApp message to inform them. Unfortunately, there was no response. When we arrived, we were told that our table had been given to someone else. This felt very unfair, as I had made every effort to communicate with the restaurant beforehand. To make matters worse, when I mentioned my reservation, staff could not even find it on their system despite the fact that I have both SMS and email confirmations proving the booking, as well as confirmation on the day that we were still coming. We ended up waiting 35 minutes before leaving to eat elsewhere. This was extremely disappointing, especially because we had been looking forward to experiencing The Old Oak. Sadly, the lack of communication and poor handling of the situation left us with a very negative impression.

    The food is great, thoroughly enjoyed the drinks too! Prices are affordable
