For a casual bite, The Base has a selection of gourmet woodfired pizzas and delicious pasta, while the newly refurbished Botany Café is famed for its fresh and healthy deli offering, best enjoyed as grab-and-go or sit down, featuring Bootlegger coffee, freshly squeezed juice, smoothies, pastries, cake and more.

    Poolside food - Caesar Salad took almost one hour to serve. Much too slow! Otherwise, everything else was very good.

    It was a beautiful day at the President Hotel. The waiters were amazing, super friendly and sociable. The location was lovely, right in the heart of Cape Town but very quiet. It's also right by the ocean, which is amazing. They've renovated the space amazingly, the lounges and cushions are lovely. The pool is fantastic, very refreshing. The only downside is the food. That was genuinely not great, I had the boa buns before but this time they were bad and the fish goujons were also not good. That was the only downer to the day. But all in all great.

    It was a very nice sunday at the pool and service was very friendly and helpful. F&B are great. I just can recommend to spend a day at the pool side for a nice day to relax and having a nice and positive day. Hope I will come back soon

    First class service. Super impressed with warmth and helpfulness of all the pool staff. You guys rock ! Big shout out to Alex for organising me with my 80 year old mom who just wanted a spoil day to swim ! 🥰❤️
